Become A Volunteer!

As a non-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of volunteers to help us bring a number of special and professional  programs and services to our community. Working together, we can make our community healthier, safer and stronger!  Below are some of our current volunteer needs.

Home Injury Control and Chores for Seniors

Do you like to do basic home maintenance projects? Would you like to see Livingston County seniors remain in their homes safely for as long as possible? We are looking for volunteers to support older adults by providing safety equipment installation in their home. Training is provided to volunteers.

Home Visit to Seniors

Bring Joy to a Homebound Senior!  Do you enjoy playing cards?  Looking for a lunch date?  Volunteers needed for friendly home visits, transportation to medical appointments, respite care, errands and more. .

Be Our Guest Adult Day Services (BOGADS)

Enjoy a fulfilling day assisting seniors with art projects, baking, playing games, and much more.

Prevention of Elder Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation (P.E.A.N.E.)

Be part of the team providing education and awareness on this important topic.  Help with outreach and information dissemination throughout the county.

Special Ministries

Helping with our Special Ministries program for adults with disAbilities. Volunteers to help participants in their various programs and activities.

Substance Abuse Prevention

Be part of a team of adult and youth residents planning and coordinating substance use/abuse prevention efforts and activities to raise awareness and decrease incidents of use, abuse, and overdose incidents in Livingston County.
