Social, Educational, Recreational and Spiritual Activities

At Livingston County Catholic Charities, our Special Ministries program provides quality programming for adults 18+ years of age living with cognitive and physical disabilities. We focus on offering growth in personal relationships, continual learning, recreation and spiritual development for persons with disABILITIES. Enrichment and recreation includes exciting events such as bowling leagues, craft night, dance classes, laser tag, game night, haircuts, and movie premieres. Continual learning activities includes classes such as cooking, empowerment, healthy living classes and money management and more. Spiritual activities are a non-denominational, Christian programming.

Contact Hailey Steffen at hailey@livingstoncc.org to register for activities.

2025 Special Ministries Annual Basketball Game

What an exciting game! The Special Ministries team took on the Livingston County Sheriff's Office in their annual basketball showdown on May 15 at Oceola Community Center. It was a great one! Special Ministries came out on top with a solid victory, finishing 53-30.

Huge thanks to everyone who came out to support, and to both teams for showing great sportsmanship and spirit! Over $5,500 was raised to support the programming of Special Ministries! We can't wait for next year's game!
