A Night of Celebration at Livingston County Catholic Charities’ Salute to the Stars Event

On May 28, 2025, Livingston County Catholic Charities (LCCC) held its annual Salute to the Stars event at the Reserve Event Center, bringing together community members for an evening of recognition and support.

Guest speaker Pete Burak delivered a thoughtful message on discipleship and evangelism, and then led a successful live auction raising funds for LCCC's senior services programs.

Thanks to our donors generosity, the event raised over $100,000, a record-breaking milestone in support of Livingston County Catholic Charities' (LCCC) mission. This remarkable achievement reflects the compassion and commitment of community members like you, and it ensures that our programs can continue to meet the growing needs of nearly 4,000 individuals in our community each year.

We were proud to present our Community Awards, celebrating individuals who go above and beyond to make Livingston County a better place. These awards honor the true spirit of service—the heart and soul of our community.

One of the most heartfelt moments of the evening came when Frank and Pat Collins, clients of our senior services program, shared their powerful story. Their journey spoke to the challenges of aging and the critical difference your support makes in providing connection, dignity, and relief for seniors and their families.

The live giving raised funds to support our Senior Services Programs: Volunteer Caregiver, Community Liaison, Home Injury Control & Chore, and Prevention of Elder Abuse. These services are offered at no cost, though donations are welcome from those who are able.

We ended the evening with toast to celebrate the agencies 40th anniversary. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this evening a success. Your support helps ensure that LCCC can continue serving those in need throughout Livingston County
